Our team of volunteers is preparing to go to Rwanda. In this post, we bring you instructions for DEDICATED DONATIONS AND LETTERS.
Dedicated donations are donations that are not mandatory and each godfather/godmother has the option, according to his/her abilities, to make his/her godchild extra happy, and to help the child’s family with products that we will buy in Rwanda and distribute them to the children’s parents in an organized manner as before, in cooperation with the school.
Dedicated donations are paid separately from the godparent donation and are paid UNTIL September 20, 2023.
The amount for dedicated donations is paid to the IBAN from the attached payment slip or via PayPal. You fill out the payment form in the same way as for godparents: It is mandatory to indicate the CALL TO THE NUMBER of the godchild, and under Description of payment: CHILD’S NAME and SURNAME and SCHOOL; specify the products for which the payment is intended (eg 1 X goat, 2 X rice, 1 X beans and the like).

ALL DEDICATED DONATIONS WHOSE CONFIRMATIONS HAVE NOT BEEN SENT TO THE SPECIFIED E-MAIL ADDRESS, AS WELL AS THOSE WHICH HAVE NOT BEEN PAID BY THE SPECIFIED DATE – WILL NOT BE DELIVERED.
Determining the final date for payments is necessary, because we need some time so that we can put together lists for each school from the information on the collected funds and know exactly how much we need to order and make reservations in time so that your children receive what you ordered for them . That is why it is very important that you fill in the payment forms according to the given instructions. In addition to the attached payment receipt, you can provide the following information: your name, the name and number of the child, the school the child attends and the products you are paying for.
OTHER DONATIONS WE CAN BEAR:
Donations in clothes and underwear (children’s numbers 0-14 years) – in good condition, washed, ironed and vacuumed; donations in toys (eg small stuffed animals, plastic cars, frisbees…); buttons, thread, needles and sewing materials, school supplies (crayons, felt-tip pens, notebooks, sharpeners and the like). We would be grateful if someone could donate a laptop or blood pressure monitor.

Letters
And this time you have the option of sending letters to your godparents.
RULES OF LETTER WRITING:
- You write the letter in English
- You MUST write the letter in a Word document (you can also attach your photo inside the document)
- In the header of the letter, it is necessary to write the NAME and LAST NAME of the godchild, CALL TO THE NUMBER, as well as the SCHOOL TO WHICH THE CHILD GOES.

- We accept letters until September 20, 2023.
We will not accept letters that do not comply with the stated instructions, as well as those sent after the specified date, because we have to sort all letters by school, and this takes a certain amount of time.
